A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after an incident in Romsey.
Police were called just before 3pm on Monday, May 27 to a report of a burglary in progress at an address in Botley Road, Romsey.
It was reported that people were seen on the property, and that a tyre had been removed from a vehicle that was parked on the drive.
Officers attended and found that the garage at the address had been broken into.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "A 33-year-old man from Romsey has been arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
"He is currently in police custody while officers carry out further enquiries.
