Hampshire police have launched an appeal after jewellery was stolen from a home in Chandler's Ford.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the burglary on Tuesday, May 21.

The incident, which occurred on Hursley Road, between the junctions of Pine Road and Hiltingbury Road, is reported to have taken place between 12.15pm and 3.15pm.

The force said that entry was forced at the rear of the property and items of jewellery were stolen from within.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We would like to speak to the driver and passenger of a black Audi in connection with this incident.

"We’d also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and witnessed anything suspicious.

"Did you recall seeing a black Audi on Hursley Road at the abovementioned times? Did you witness any suspicious activity involving the Audi or its occupants?

"Do you have any CCTV, dash cam, doorbell camera or mobile phone footage which could assist us in our investigation?

"If you have any information or footage, please call 101 and quote incident number 44240213280."
