A by-election for the Grange and Alver Valley electoral ward in Hampshire will take place on Thursday, July 4.
The by-election has been called after the death of Cllr Maggie Morgan and will take place on the same day as the general election.
Situated in Gosport, constituents can view the Notice of Election on the Gosport Borough Council website, with nominations now open.
In order to vote, voters will need a form of ID when they cast their ballot, which applies as a whole to the general election.
