Hampshire is considered to be a very picturesque county and you can easily take in its sights through walking trails.
If you fancy going on these walks you might prefer for the route to not be too difficult to follow and to end up exactly back where you started.
Luckily there are plenty of circular walks you can take in the county, most of which are a couple of miles long and take between one and three hours.
5 stunning circular walls to enjoy in Hampshire
Lyndhurst Hill and Swan Green Circular

The Lyndhurst Hill and Swan Green Circular is just over 10km in length and should take around two and a half hours to complete.
The trail goes through the New Forest National Park and covers "mostly flat" but "scenic" paths.
Walkers will go through "open land, lush forest, moorland, and heaths" and there are several pubs along the way if you fancy a quick stop for refreshments.
Emery Down Circular

Another circular walk around Hampshire that's just over 10km is the Emery Down Circular which should take around two and a half hours to complete.
It is described as having "varied terrain and beautiful views throughout".
The profile adds: "This route has everything you could want from a walk in the New Forest from old houses to tall trees surrounding gravel tracks, muddy paths through woods, streams, heathland and lots of wildlife."
Alresford Watercress Trail Circular

This 7.4km route around Alresford should take around one hour and 45 minutes to complete.
It passes through a mixture of "ancient lanes and farm tracks" as well as "stunning" riverside paths.
The profile adds: "The route follows a mixture of tarmac, stone and grass paths/lanes and whilst most of these are well-made, the route can get a little muddy after wet weather."
Fritham Circular

This 9km walk near Fritham in the New Forest should take around two hours and 10 minutes to complete.
It is described as a "pretty walk" with views of the "rolling countryside" and it is a popular route for "horseback riding, running and mountain biking".
The profile adds: "The mix of open heath and dense forest makes for a nice variety of scenery."

The Leather Bottle and Whitewater Valley

A slightly shorter route than the others on this list is The Leather Bottle and Whitewater Valley walk which is 4.7km long.
It should take just over an hour to complete, with it starting and finishing at The Leather Bottle pub in Mattingley.
The profile adds: "The route is really delightful with chance to enjoy a pretty avenue lined with lime trees, open fields, the banks of the beautiful River Whitewater, and a spectacular timber-framed church."
