The reopening date for a popular stationery shop has been revealed.

Flying Tiger suddenly closed its doors last month, much to the shock of shoppers.

The store at Westquay has been a firm favourite since it opened in 2016.

Many were sad to see it shut, but Westquay confirmed it was only temporary.

Now, a sign on the shopfront has revealed it will reopen in Autumn 2024 at its new location in the shopping centre.

The new site for the Danish company is yet to be confirmed.

It is believed the shop has been moved to make way for international fashion brand Mango.

Four jobs, located at Westquay, are currently being advertised by the clothing company.

A spokesperson from Westquay previously told the Echo: “Flyer Tiger is relocating within Westquay, with details on that to be revealed very soon.

“We have an international fashion brand taking Flying Tiger’s space so it is the usual asset management jigsaw of bringing in new brands and concepts to enhance the mix.”

The changes come after Space NK opened in the former Jack Wills store – adjacent to Flying Tiger - in May.
