A man has been charged with murder after the body of a 58-year-old man was found in Harefield.
Officers were called to a flat in Mountain Ash Close just after 1.20pm on Tuesday, May 28, after the body of Ian Wayne Jupe, 58, was found.
Hampshire police said that further enquiries into the circumstances of his death led them to believe he had been killed.
Tom Alexander Ellison, 35, of Mountain Ash Close, Southampton has been charged with murder and theft.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We have now charged Tom Alexander Ellison, 35, of Mountain Ash Close, Southampton, with murder.
"We have remanded him in custody to appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court today Monday, June 3."
