Cunard’s newest cruise liner, Queen Anne is set to return to Southampton this week after the 3,300-capacity ship had her official naming ceremony in Liverpool on Monday.
Queen Anne will return to her home port on Friday, June 7 at 6am – after departing from Cork, Ireland – on Wednesday.
The cruise ship will depart Southampton at 6pm, Friday evening, for a 16-day round-trip of the Mediterranean.

This comes after the City of Liverpool was named as Queen Anne’s Godparent in an official naming ceremony, with the city being the birthplace of Cunard’s first transatlantic crossing – 184 years ago.
Famous Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli was in attendance and performed at the event, hosted by television presenter Emma Willis and Busted musician Matt Willis.
Queen Anne departed Southampton for the first time last month, leaving her home port to huge fan fair and a selection of fireworks.
