Three people have been arrested in connection with an early hours burglary at a supermarket.
Police officers were called shortly after 5am this morning to reports that entry was forced into Sainsbury’s in Leigh Road.
Following enquiries, two men and one teenager were apprehended.

A 20-year-old man from Bishopstoke was arrested in Market Street, Eastleigh on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal, and assault by beating.
A 24-year-old man from Southampton was arrested in St Catherine's Road, Eastleigh on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
A 17-year-old boy from Southampton was arrested in Wells Place, Eastleigh on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
Police confirmed that nothing was taken from the store.
All three remain in police custody at this time.
