International fashion brand Mango has confirmed it will be opening the doors to its first store in Southampton.
The clothing brand will be moving into Westquay shopping centre ‘later this year’.
A specific opening date is yet to be provided by Mango and Westquay.
It comes after several job adverts for the new and exciting store were spotted online.
Mango is expected to take over the Flying Tiger store, which is being moved to a new location within the shopping centre.
A spokesperson said: “Mango, one of Europe’s leading fashion groups, continues its international expansion plan in the United Kingdom with its first store in Southampton.
“Specifically, in Westquay shopping centre in the heart of Southampton.
“The new store, planned for late this year, will have a selling space of 350 metres squared and stock products from the Woman line exclusively.”
It will also feature a Mediterranean-inspired store concept, New Med, which showcases the brand’s “spirit and freshness”.
The store will showcase a variety of different tooms with warm tones and neutral colours, which will be combined with traditional, artisanal, sustainable and natural materials, such as ceramic, wood, marble, and leather.
Mango has been present in the UK since 1999 and at the end of the 2023 financial year, had 60 stores in the country.
