The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

GLENN BLUNDELL, 47, of Heron Wood Road, Aldershot pleaded guilty to drug driving on Bursledon Road, Southampton. Blundell was disqualified from driving for 17 months and fined £120. He was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

CHARLOTTE LEGG, 32, of New Road, Netley admitted to driving without insurance in a Ford S-Max on Hamble Lane, Netley. She received a six-month driving ban, six points on her licence and a £660 fine. Legg was also ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £264 surcharge. 

JOSEPH ARNOLD, 33, of Shakespeare Drive, Totton pleaded guilty to five counts of theft from a shop after £296.76 worth of items were stolen from Morrisons and Asda in Totton. Arnold received a one-year community order with eight rehabilitation days. He must pay £86.76 in compensation and a £120 fine.

SAMANTHA HANN, 47, of Shakespeare Avenue, Portswood admitted a single count of theft from a shop after £104 worth of clothing was stolen from Asda, Southampton. She received a six-month conditional discharge and must pay a £26 surcharge. 

ENOCK BOATENG, 37, of Malmesbury Road, Southampton admitted to failing to co-operate with a preliminary test for a motor vehicle offence. This related to a drugs wipe. He was fined £80 and received four points on his licence. Boateng was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £32 surcharge. 

EUTICUS NYAMBURA, 24, of Deacon Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on Empress Road, Southampton. He was caught with 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath whilst driving a BMW 320. Nyambura was banned from driving for 23 months and received a £363 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £145 surcharge.
