A passenger has died disembarking a cruise ship currently docked in Southampton.
The person sadly passed away in the terminal having disembarked the Queen Anne earlier today.
The news was confirmed by cruise liner Cunard.
A spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with their loved ones, and we are in close contact to offer them our full support and assistance during this difficult time.
“The ship departure will not be affected and the scheduled departure time is 6pm.”
The cruise ship is next scheduled for a 16-day round-trip of the Mediterranean.
Queen Anne recently returned to her homeport of Southampton following her naming ceremony in Liverpool.
The new liner was launched among Cunard’s fleet earlier this year.
