The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

WILLIAM BARTLETT, 24, of Chiselbury Grove, Salisbury pleaded guilty to speeding on the M271 northbound between junctions one and three. He was driving a Seat when he was clocked at 105mph. The speed limit at the time was 70mph. Bartlett received six points on his licence and was fined £461. He was ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £184 surcharge. 

REBECCA ROBINSON, 33, of North Road, Brockenhurst admitted drink driving on Southampton Road, Lymington. She was driving a Vauxhall Astra when she was caught with 48 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Robinson was banned from driving for 12 months and received three points on her licence. She was fined £135 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £54 surcharge.

MISU ENCEA, 48, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton admitted to driving without insurance and failing to comply with a red light traffic signal on High Street, Winchester. Encea was driving a Volkswagen Passet at the time. The 48-year-old was fined £200 and received six penalty points. Encea must also pay £85 court costs plus an £80 surcharge. 

FRANK CHAPMAN, 32, of Knighton Road, Southampton admitted a charge of harassment without violence after he send and made an excessive amount of calls and messages to his victim. The office was committed at Hillside Road, Lymington over the space of a week. Chapman received a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days and a £115 fine. He was also given a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim for the next 12 months. Chapman was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

DUMITRU CONSTANTIN, 23, of Westridge Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days, a 24-month driving ban and a £266 fine. He was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
