Scores of people were wowed as Daedalus hosted a festival to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
The first day of the event saw a Red Arrows flypast top the bill, with the RAF display team on their way back from a display in Portsmouth for the city's Armed Forces Day.
Among the other aerial attractions was a Navy Raider parachute display, plus aircraft including the Swordfish, Spitfire and Mustang.
There was also a static aircraft display, historic cars, music and a funfair.
Attendees also enjoyed field gun runs, marching bands and living history reenactments.
The event returns on Sunday for its second day, with adults paying £15 for entry on the day, or £6 for a child between five and 14.
Senior citizens, veterans or serving MOD employees have a discounted entry of £10.
The car park opens at 9am, with the event opening at 10am.
