EMERGENCY services responded to a serious crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Sunday morning.
The incident involved a green Mini Countryman S and a motorcycle at the junction of Station Road and Newlands Road in New Milton at around 9.30am, June 9.
Officers raced to the scene along with a fire engine from New Milton fire station, paramedics and the air ambulance team.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, a spokeswoman for Hampshire police said.
Meanwhile, a road closure was put in place for a number of hours while accident investigators carried out enquiries and examinations.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the crash to assist the police and ambulance service.
Pictures from the scene show the rider being taken away on a stretcher into the back of an ambulance, damage to the front of the Mini and the motorcycle resting on the floor.
