A man arrested as part of a murder probe has been released by police with no further action.
Police officers were called to a fight between three men in Ellwood Close, Thornhill, in March.
One of the men involved was hit with a flatbed van and was taken to hospital.
An attempted murder investigation was launched.
But three months on since the incident in Thornhill, one of the men arrested by police has been released.
The 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent has been released with no further action.
A 22-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice remains on police bail until July 18.
Police also charged two men in connection with the incident – Alan Clarke and Jamie Clarke.
Both appeared before Southampton Crown Court in April.
Alan Clarke, 46, of Spring Road, denies attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
His son, Jamie Clarke, 25, of Ellwood Close, denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
They are due to go on trial on December 9.
