Police investigating the alleged rape of a woman in East Park have charged a man.
Ozbeg Teymuroglu, 22, of no fixed address, is due to appear before magistrates charged with rape.
It comes as police are investigating the reported rape of a woman in her 40s, which is alleged to have happened in the Southampton park shortly after 5am on Thursday.

Teymuroglu is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Police previously said the woman is being supported by specialist officers.
Specialist police officers in Southampton stepped up patrols in the city this weekend after the incident.
