AN Audi was destroyed in a car fire on the A31 over the weekend.
The car was travelling westbound near Ringwood when it burst into flames and pulled over by the side of the road on Saturday evening, June 8.
Officials have said more than 10 calls came in to 999 in the first few moments.
Emergency services shut the major dual carriageway while firefighters extinguished the blaze on the side of the road.
People could be seen stood back from the fire moments before fire crews arrived to tackle the flames.

Hampshire police said there were no injuries from the fire.
Hampshire Fire Service added: “A car was destroyed by fire on the A31 westbound shortly after 10pm on Saturday.
“More than 10 emergency calls were made into the HIWFRS control room reporting the blaze.
“Crews from Lyndhurst and Redbridge attended to extinguish the fire using hose reels.
“Firefighters left the scene at around 11pm with the incident left with police.”
