A boiler, a wooden table and a bag of fishing gear are among the items that have been dumped behind a New Forest war memorial.
Police say they came across the fly tip behind the Canadian War Memorial near Lyndhurst on Sunday.
Officers were patrolling with Forestry England when they found the discarded items.
A boiler, a large round wooden table top and a bag of fishing gear are among the items.
They were left in a wooded area with photos showing them piled up alongside tree branches along with cardboard and black bin bags.
The force is now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "During our patrols with Forestry England today we have come across this fly tip in the Forest behind the Canadian War Memorial.
"Do you recognise it because some of it is quite distinctive?
"If you know where this has come from please let us know and email richard.williams@hampshire.police.uk"
