A man was arrested following a multi-vehicle crash on a busy road.

Police were called to a collision in Botley Road shortly before 6pm last night.

The crash in Curdridge involved two vehicles and only minor injuries were reported.

A 37-year-old man from Bishop’s Waltham was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.

He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
