An initiative which will culminate in a takeover of Southampton with hundreds of men dancing in solidarity has been launched.

The Big Movement with ZoieLogic Dance Theatre aims to raise awareness during Men's Mental Health and Loneliness Week this week.

It is hoped that this vibrant display of unity will serve as a powerful symbol of hope and support for men's mental health and well-being.

Although The Big Movement will take place in spring 2026, ZoieLogic Dance Theatre wants people to get involved now to show mental health is a big deal and needs a big moment.

Artistic Director Zoie Golding said: “Since starting ZoieLogic Dance Theatre we have got boys and men dancing.

"With The Big Movement, we want to reduce loneliness and break down the stigma surrounding men's mental health. The Big Movement provides a platform for men to come together, express themselves, and support one another in a spirit of solidarity and community.”
