A man was arrested, and later de-arrested, after he allegedly stole a water bottle at a popular attraction.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to Alum Bay New Road at The Needles Landmark Attraction yesterday afternoon (Saturday, June 15).
Four police cars and a van arrived at the scene at around 1pm, and several officers were spotted detaining a man in the attraction's main car park.
The man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a water bottle.
A police spokesperson said he was later 'de-arrested and given a verbal warning'.
