Three people have been arrested in connection with motorbike thefts in the Eastleigh area.

Officers received reports of the theft of a black Honda on Blenheim Road on Saturday, June 1.

A 21-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

He has since been released on conditional police bail until Sunday 1 September, pending further enquiries.

Following this, officers also arrested a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, both from Southampton, on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle following a report of a stolen black Honda on Mitchell Road on June 1.

Both have been released on conditional police bail until Monday 2 September, pending further enquiries.

On June 8, another motorbike was reported stolen on Longster Road, this time a black Suzuki.

Officers’ enquiries regarding the theft remain ongoing.

A police spokesperson has said: “If you have any information about any of the above incidents, which aren’t currently being linked, please contact 101.”
