Excitement is building as the band Madness is set to take to the stage in Southampton as part of a brand-new summer festival.
Guildhall Square is set to fill up today - as it did last night as music legend Sir Tom Jones performed his biggest hits at the Southampton Summer Sessions festival, which started this year.

The English ska band behind the hit Baggy Trousers are part of the lineup of the festival which will see big acts perform three weekends in June.
Madness spent 214 weeks on the UK singles charts from 1980-89, thereby sharing the record for most weeks spent by a group in the 1980s UK singles charts with UB40.

New headliner revealed for Southampton Summer Sessions
Other headliners performing over the coming weeks include Kaiser Chiefs and Nile Rodgers & CHIC.
Founded in 2013, Summer Sessions have become a much-loved and highly anticipated live music series in Scotland with events taking place in cities including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.
Southampton has been added to the series for the first time in 2024 along with Bedford, Chepstow, Derby and Plymouth.
