A Southampton singer is set to take to the stage at the Isle of Wight festival for the second year running.
Lewis Shepperd played to a packed crowd at the Electro Love tent at the iconic festival last year and is set to perform to thousands again this year.
Playing at 8pm on Saturday, Lewis is set to take to the Electro Love tent again this year and perform to a crowd of 5000 fans.
Born and raised on the Isle of Wight, Lewis said: “I’m super excited to be playing the Isle of Wight festival again - we always have a laugh.
“The organisers are incredible, and I get to play to thousands of people with some of my best friends.
“I also can’t wait for everyone to hear my new single ‘council estate reject’ live at the festival.
“In my opinion, this is the first authentic punk song since the Sex Pistols. It addresses the current issues in the UK without beating around the bush.
“I don’t have a foundation of wealth from parents or other backing… I am genuine am currently living same struggles.”
The music video for Lewis’ latest single will be released on July 5.
