The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
SCOTT GRANT, 32, currently of HMP Winchester pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after he stole an Oral B electric toothbrush worth £160 from Boots in Southampton. He was jailed for 28 days and must pay a £154 surcharge.
MITCHELL COOPER, 38, of no fixed abode admitted to driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance on the M27 at Junction 3 for Nursling Interchange. He was jailed for 18 weeks and was banned from driving for three years. Cooper was ordered to pay a £154 surcharge.
DENISE MCCREERY, 46, of Tangmere Drive, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on Tangmere Drive. She was caught with 41 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. McCreery was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £80. She must also pay £85 court costs and a £32 surcharge.

MATTHEW GIBBS, 28, of Hobbs Close, West Byfleet admitted to driving whilst disqualified on Botler Road, North Baddesley. He was driving a Ford Transit at the time. Gibbs received a £600 fine and six penalty points. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs.
DONNA WELLS, 42, of Marryat Road, New Milton pleaded guilty to attempting to cause criminal damage to a window in New Milton. She received a 12-month conditional discharge.
MAROUANE CHENNAIOUI, 35, of Howard Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker. This relates to a police officer. He also admitted to causing criminal damage to the cage in a police van and a holding cell at the Police Investigation Centre in Jays Close, Basingstoke. Chennaioui received a one-year community order with an alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement of 90 days. He must also complete up to 14 days of rehabilitation activity and pay £100 compensation.
