UPDATE: A 22-year-old man has now been arrested.
Police are hunting for a 22-year-old man with links to Southampton who is wanted on recall to prison.
A search is underway to find Max Plaister who has connections to Southampton, Fareham, Gosport and Basingstoke.
Residents have been warned not to approach him and instead contact police on 101.
The force has also said that anyone found to be harbouring Plaister to deliberately obstruct the search could be committing an offence and may be arrested.

A spokesperson added: "Officers are following up all lines of enquiry to locate Max, and would also like to appeal to the wider public for information relating to his whereabouts.
"If you have seen him, or have information regarding his whereabouts, please do not approach him and instead contact police on 101, quoting 44240256093.
