A family is concerned for a Southampton "sugar mummy" due to get married to a man she met on a holiday fling in the Dominican Republic.
Charlotte, 34, met her husband-to-be Johan, 21, at a hotel resort in the Caribbean country.
Appearing on the Discovery+ programme 90 Day Fiancé, Charlotte – who is a barber of 18 years – hopes to wed the man of her dreams who lives more than 4,350 miles away, despite the concerns of her mother who fears she’s a “sugar mummy".
Charlotte’s mum said: “I just thought it was a holiday fling, but it’s grown into Charlotte getting married to someone she hardly knows across the other side of the world.”

Speaking on her relationship with Johan, Charlotte said: “I’ve been single for a long time.
“The first couple of years were great and then I hit 30 and thought ‘oh no'.
“It just got a bit lonely as everyone else in the group was starting to settle down and then it was just me.”
Featuring as part of season three of the popular television series, Charlotte’s mum confesses she’s concerned her holiday romance may just want her money, after it transpired Charlotte had transferred him cash to help support his family.
Voicing her concerns, Charlotte’s mum said: “Is it because he wants a ticket over here? You’re not his sugar mummy.”
Undeterred, Charlotte said: “I’m 100 per cent willing to put my trust in him with my future.”
The 34-year-old from Southampton lives in a three-bedroom house with her two cats, Bella and Bear.
She said: “My friends would describe me as ambitious, a bit crazy at times, I’m very impulsive – if I like something, I’ll get it.”
Six episodes into season three, the series is yet to reach its conclusion, with Charlotte hoping she won’t be jilted at the altar by the man of her dreams.
