The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

SIMON WOOD, 46, of Bluebell Road, Southampton was found guilty of criminal damage to a mobile phone in Redhill, Southampton. He received a nine-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay court costs of £250. Wood must also pay a £26 surcharge. 

MARIUSZ ZUK, 44, of Rose Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a door and windows in Southampton. He also admitted to a charge of common assault of an emergency worker. He received an 18-month community order with 20 rehabilitation days and a fine of £83. Zuk must also pay £150 compensation for the damage and was given a restraining order banning him from going to Lodge Road for the next 18 months. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

DARREN HOOPER, 53, of Warburton Road, Southampton admitted to drink driving on Herrick Close, Southampton. He was caught with 47 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Hooper received a 12-month driving ban with an £80 fine. He must pay a £32 surcharge.

CATIE LINTOTT, 45, of Victoria Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after he stole £40 worth of easter eggs from Co-Op in Southampton. Lintott was fined £80 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge. She was detained in default. 

LINDSAY SAUNDERS, 43, of Portswood Road, Southampton admitted to assault by beating. She received a one-year community order with 10 rehabilitation days and an £80 fine. Saunders was also ordered to pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge. 

KIERON HEBBERD, 33, of Tukes Avenue, Gosport admitted to exceeding a 40mph speed limit on the A27 Cams Hill. He was caught driving a Vauxhall Movano at 47mph. Hebberd was fined £130 and received three points on his licence. He must pay £110 court costs and a £52 surcharge.
