With Southampton finally basking in some summer sunshine, temperatures in the city are set to be hotter than Ibiza this week.
The Met Office is forecasting highs of 27 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, surpassing that of the Spanish holiday destination, that will be sizzling in only 26 degrees Celsius of sunshine.
With highs of 24 degrees Celsius on Monday, the Met Office is warning of a “dry and very warm or hot day, with plenty of sunny spells likely,” for Tuesday, June 25.

According to the Met Office the outlook for Wednesday to Friday is much of the same for the South East, with a “weakening band of light rain on Thursday night that will introduce cooler air for Friday.”
