British alternative rock band, Placebo are set to perform in Southampton this evening.
The latest big-name act to perform in Guildhall Square as part of the Southampton Summer Sessions, Placebo are expected to delight fans with an array of songs from their seven top 10 UK albums.
Having formed in 1994, band members Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal have become a mainstay of British music – producing well-known tracks including Running Up That Hill, Pure Morning, and Every You Every Me.

Gates open at Guildhall Square at 6pm this evening where Placebo will be supported by Friedberg.
Placebo follow Nile Rodgers and Chic, Madness, and Tom Jones – who have already headlined the three-week music festival in the city.
Air, Paloma Faith, and Kaiser Chiefs will also take to the stage in Southampton this week, with the latter closing proceedings on Sunday night.
