Ms Harriman said: "My course at Solent has truly prepared me for industry work; I’ve been given a great deal of skills that I can transfer into my future job roles.

"Live briefs have prepared me for the sort of projects I’ll be faced with when moving into my future career, and the support from lecturers has been unwavering and very much appreciated.

"I’m so grateful for my experience at Solent, and all that I have gained from it."

As part of her Final Major Project, Ms Harriman created 'Nolie', an adolescent skincare brand.

She exploited a product gap in the market, presenting an aspirational solution.

By celebrating young people and inspiring self confidence, Nolie greatly impressed the Graduate Fashion Week judges, winning Ms Harriman the 2024 Fashion Marketing Crown.

Graduate Fashion Week is a monumental event for university students, both in the UK and internationally.

It promotes creative talent ready to make their mark in the fashion and beauty industry.

Solent University's creative courses equip students with hands-on skills for student's CVs.

"Her research on Generation Alpha impressed the judges and offers beauty brands a real insight into the next wave of skincare consumers."

Being a Graduate Fashion Week winner provides Ms Harriman with another platform to showcase her skills and talent.
