A ginger cat is still searching for her forever home after a month-long search to find the perfect owner.
Three-year-old domestic short hair, Hope, arrived at the Blue Cross in Southampton as a stray, severely emaciated and needing urgent veterinary care.
After an appeal to local news outlets in May, the domestic short hair is still searching for a new owner and the team at the Blue Cross are set on finding Hope her ideal match.
Hope can be a sensitive cat when she first meets people, but once she gets to know new people, she is full of character and enjoys gentle head strokes and a little fuss.
The Blue Cross team said that the perfect match for Hope will be confident and experienced with cats and live in a location where she will have space to safely roam around.
Ellie Stansfield, Assistant Manager at Blue Cross in Southampton, said: "Unfortunately, adorable cat Hope, is still searching for her forever home as she continues to build in confidence whilst staying at Blue Cross Southampton.
" Hope is a beautiful girl who is full of so much character and charm.
"It has been incredibly rewarding to see her transformation during the time that she been with us - she arrived at the centre as an underweight stray, but is now a bright, happy girl and will make a perfect, fun companion for her new owner."

The team also added that Hope also loves to play and is showing signs that she will make an excellent hunter once she has the space to do so.
Due to not liking being over-handled, Hope would be best suited to an adult-only home with no other cats and dogs.
