A Hampshire IT firm is celebrating its fourth year of promoting mental health during World Wellbeing Week, June 24-30.

Aura Technology in partnership with Southampton's Kadampa Meditation Centre, aims to help individuals manage modern stresses.

Tim Walker, managing director of Aura Technology is an advocate for Buddhist meditation, and collaborates with the Centre, offering customised mindfulness meditation videos to UK and Indian teams.

The programme, which began during the pandemic, is now a permanent part of Aura's approach to employee wellbeing.

Mr Walker said: "Our relationship with Kadampa started during the Covid pandemic. We wanted to provide our staff with complementary services around mental health and wellbeing during lockdown and give them access to things that they might not have made time for previously, but now suddenly had time to embrace and also a real need to do so."
