A man has been arrested after reports he groped and played with himself whilst being served in a shop. 

Police arrested a 21-year-old man from Gosport after the incident on West Street in Fareham.

The force received reports that the man had been seen touching himself whilst being served by a female member of staff.

The man was dealt with by way of a community resolution.

Taking to Facebook, a spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “Fareham East Neighbourhood Policing Team and the DPCT have worked together after an incident of Outraging Public Decency.

“We received a report of a male groping and playing with his genitals whilst being served by a female member of staff at a local retailer.

“Numerous enquiries, and a little bit of luck, identified this male who has since been arrested, questioned about the matter and been issued with a Community Resolution.”
