The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
RYAN WINGATE, 38, of Hillside Road, Pennington pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after a number of prepacked items were stolen from Waitrose in Lymington. He was fined £128.
JEFFREY GREEN, 58, of North East Road, Southampton admitted a charge of racially or religiously aggravated common assault or beating in Southampton. He received a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days, £100 compensation and a £53 fine. He was also given an exclusion order banning him from going to One Stop in North East Road, Sholing for the next nine months. Green must also pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
NATALIE BOWYER, 48, of Neva Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating and theft from a shop after two dresses and a handbag were stolen from John Lewis in Southampton. The value of the stolen items was £695. She also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and theft from a shop. This relates to £136 worth of baby clothes stolen from Next in Hedge End. Bowyer received a one-year community order with 10 rehabilitation days.

GIMI DURAC, 26, of Sping Crescent, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified, failing to surrender to bail and driving without insurance on Cedar Road, Southampton. Durac received a 16-week sentence suspended for 19 months with 20 rehabilitation days and 80 hours of unpaid work. The 26-year-old was banned from driving for 12 months and must pay £85 court costs plus a £154 surcharge.
ANTHONY OTHEN, 40, of Chiltern Green, Millbrook was found guilty of drink driving on Atherly Road, Southampton. He was caught with 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath whilst driving a Renault Captur. He was also convicted of driving without a licence, driving without insurance and failing to answer to bail. Othen was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £360. He must also pay £160 court costs and a £144 surcharge.
