The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

ROBBIE WEST, 30, of Osborne Road South pleaded guilty to drink driving on Lawn Road in Southampton. He was caught with 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was banned from driving for 15 months and fined £120. West was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

JODIE MCDERMOTT, 34, of International Way, Southampton pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft from a shop. This relates to around £1,033.35 worth of items that were stolen from Asda in West End High Street, Co-Op in Bridge Road, Southampton, Co-Op in Portsmouth Road, Southampton, Co-Op in Station Road, Netley, One Stop on Portsmouth Road, Bursledon and Next in Hedge End. The stolen items included meat, bananas, cleaning products and other food and groceries. McDermott was jailed for four weeks. 

TERELL BANNISTER, 35, of Whyteways, Eastleigh pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Southampton. He was granted bail to appear at the same court on September 4 for sentencing. The court ordered a pre-sentence report to be produced.

RIA MORGAN, 24, of Starboard Way, Southampton admitted to obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty in Southampton and assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer. Magistrates' ordered that a pre-sentence report should be produced. Morgan was released on bail to appear at the same court on September 17 for sentencing. 

RYAN WHITMARSH-WARD, 33, of Spring Road, Southampton admitted to drug driving on Houndwell Place, Southampton. He was caught with Benzoylecgonine, a by-product of cocaine, in his blood. He was released on bail to appear at the same court on July 2 for sentencing. The court ordered that a pre-sentence report be produced. 

ALISTER CLARKE, 48, of Keswick Road, New Milton admitted to drink driving a BMW 320 on Church Lane in Sway. He was caught with 165 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Clarke was released on bail to appear at the same court on September 6 for sentencing.
