A man has been arrested after drugs and cash were found inside a vehicle.
The 32-year-old man was driving when he was stopped on Ann’s Hill Road in Gosport on Friday afternoon.
Police searched the vehicle and found a quantity of drugs and cash.
The man was then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Following this he was taken into custody by van to Portsmouth custody centre.
The arrest caused minor delays on Ann’s Hill Road which police have since apologised to drivers for.
In a Facebook post, Gosport Police said: "The officers that stopped the male called for other officers to assist and a van to transport him to custody which all arrived quickly but soon took up most of the Hospital end of Ann's Hill Road causing a minor traffic kerfuffle, sorry about that!
"He is currently with our Custody colleagues and will be questioned by the Investigation Team in due course."
