A busy main road in Hedge End is set to be hit with more road works - just a month after it reopened.
Charles Watts Way in Hedge End was only re-opened last month after a seven-month long bout of road works that caused traffic misery for drivers in Hedge End, West End and Thornhill, after a landslide.
Fresh road works are now set to start on the road – but drivers can take solace in the fact that the road will only be affected for two days.
The road is due to be hit with road works from Monday, July 15, and Wednesday, July 17, between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
According to road work tracker, One Network, a lane closure will be in place on Charles Watts Way at the Peter Cooper Roundabout at junctions of Grange Road, Wildern Lane, Charles Watts Way and Botley Road.
The works have been categorised as repair and maintenance works that will take place through the night to try and minimise the impact to drivers.

The seven-month slog of road works was due to a landslide at the side of Charles Watts Way and Hampshire County Council said that the works were essential to prevent the landslip becoming worse.
Despite having the road closed for more than half a year, the council also said that had the road been left without being repaired, it increased the risk of having to close the road in both directions for a longer period.
Making the traffic woes worse for residents over the seven-month closure was that nearby roads, including the M27 motorway, were also affected by construction.
The nearby A27 Kanes Hill was among them - with the road being subject to temporary traffic lights three times in less than two months.
In February, National Highways began a two-year project to resurface the M27 between junctions five and seven.
This has left drivers between junctions five and seven stuck at 50 miles per hour while a low noise surface asphalt is laid over the road.
