A music event this weekend has been cancelled with organisers saying forecasted heavy showers and gusts forcing them to cancel.
Afternoon of Music – due to run for two hours on Sunday - has been cancelled by New Milton Town Council.
The free event at the Performance Pavilion Recreation Ground, New Milton, would have seen eight-piece band The Ratpack entertain music fans with their swing, jump jive, and soul tunes.

However, in a statement New Milton Town Council said it was for the benefit of the band and audience that gig could no longer go ahead, with the Met Office forecasting heavy showers throughout the afternoon.
They said: “We are sorry to advise that we've had to make the decision today (Friday, July 5) to cancel this Sunday's Afternoon of Music.
“The weather forecast says unsettled with heavy showers and gusts as well.”
They added: “It wasn't an easy decision as we all love these events but know how unpredictable our weather can be.
“For the benefit of the band, our team, and our audience we thought it was best.”
