The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

OLIVER BURROW, 44, of Suttones Place, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or or provoke unlawful violence in Southampton. He also admitted to causing £483 worth of criminal damage to doors belonging to Vita Student Accommodation in Terminus Terrace. Burrow received a one-year community order with a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement and £983 compensation. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

ADAM LANGDOWN, 39, of Bassett Crescent West, Southampton admitted to failing to provide a specimen for analysis at the Eastern Police Investigation Centre in Portsmouth. Langdown was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £750. He must also pay £85 court costs.

DANIEL COLLINS, 36, of North East Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to harassment in breach of a restraining order in Southampton. Collins was fined £500 and received another restraining order banning him from contacting his victim for a further 12 months on top of the original order. Collins must pay £85 court costs and a £200 surcharge. 

BENJAMIN HELP, 37, of Regents Park, Southampton admitted to obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty in Southampton. He was fined £146 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £58 surcharge. 

PHILIP MAIDMENT, 43, of Orchard Close, Totton pleaded guilty to a single count of drink driving on Salisbury Road in Totton. He was caught driving a Vauxhall Vivaro with 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Maidment was banned from driving for 36 months and fined £500. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £200 surcharge.
