A man has appeared in court after a police officer was injured in a crash between a car and a motorbike.
Marvin Geddes, 33, of Epping Close, Southampton was charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving without a licence.
It follows a crash involving a Honda Civic and a police motorbike on Lords Hill Centre East and a collision with a white Peugeot on Lords Hill Centre West in the evening of July 2.

Both the police rider and the driver of the Peugeot sustained minor injuries, police said.
Geddes appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court today (July 11) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown Court on August 9.
