Broadband provider toob is launching a new social tariff, 'toob essentials', aimed at making full-fibre broadband access easier for benefit recipients.
A sloer, 50Mbps service is available for £20 a month for people on Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment Support Allowance, and Income Support.
The provision is limited to those in areas serviced by toob's own network.
Toob said it is taking a step to address the digital divide in communities it serves.
Nick Parbutt, CEO, said: "We founded toob on the belief that digital inclusion is vital in the modern world and that full-fibre broadband should be available to all.
"We are pleased that our new tariff, toob essentials, will be able to help connect people who may be struggling with the cost of getting online."
