The offence was proved in his absence on June 14 at Avon and Somerset Magistrates' Court. Binla was fined £220 and must pay £52.10 compensation, £180 court costs and an £88 surcharge.
LUCY ARNOLD, 39, of St Swithuns Road South, Bournemouth was travelling on a South Western service at Southampton having not paid the fare of £11.50. The offence was committed on January 10 this year. It was proved in her absence at a hearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on June 19, 2024. Arnold was fined £220 and must pay £11.50 compensation, £180 court costs and an £88 surcharge.

MUHAMMAD KHAN, 24, of Cranbury Terrace, Southampton was travelling on a South Western service at Christchurch when he was caught having not paid the £6.40 fare. The offence was committed on December 23, 2023 and proved on June 19 this year at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court. Khan was ordered to pay a £220 fine, £6.40 compensation, an £88 surcharge and £180 court costs.
CONNOR GRAY, 31, of Park Road, Southampton was caught travelling on a South Western service at Bournemouth having not paid the £16.60 fare. This took place on December 11, 2023. It was proved in his absence at a hearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on June 19, 2024. Gray must pay a £220 fine, £16.60 compensation, an £88 surcharge and £180 court costs.
DANIELLE LUCAS, 29, of Purewell, Christchurch was caught on a South Western service at Southampton having not paid the train fare of £29.20 on December 30 last year. The offence was proved at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on June 19. Lucas was fined £220 and must pay £29.20 compensation, an £88 surcharge and £180 court costs.
