Southampton Airport is “largely unaffected” by a worldwide IT outage.
Planes across the globe have been grounded, causing disruption at several airports.
But people travelling from the airport in Eastleigh should face only slight delays to their journeys.
A spokesperson for AGS Airports, which owns and operates Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports, said: “Our three airports are largely unaffected by the current global IT issues.
“At present a small number of airlines have moved to manual check-in and some retailers are only accepting cash payments.”

The major problem with computer systems is also disrupting transport, broadcasters, hospitals and other sectors across the world.
NATS – the national air traffic control centre – remains unaffected.
A spokesperson said: “We have no IT issues and are operating normally. We are working closely with airports and airlines to understand how best we can support them and their customers.
“We advise passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline.”
