The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

ALESSANDRA COLASANTI, 33, of Turnstone Gardens, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating in Southampton. She received a one-year community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement and 20 rehabilitation days. Colasanti must pay £200 compensation and a £114 surcharge. 

TOBY DIAPER, 26, of Sullivan Road, Southampton admitted to common assault of an emergency worker, namely a police sergeant who he attacked in Southampton. He also pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker and two counts of racially or religiously aggravated common assault or beating. Diaper was given a 16-week sentence suspended for 18 months with a 30-day accredited programme, 10 rehabilitation days and 175 hours of unpaid work. He was given an exclusion order banning him from going to Tatwin Crescent for 18 months and must pay £425 compensation.

TYRONE SMITH, 42, of Saturn Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm in a public place, namely a BB gun on The Avenue, Southampton. He was fined £120 and must pay £85 court costs. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the gun. 

WILLIAM MCKINLEY, 34, of Devon Drive, Chandler's Ford pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a Hyundai i20 in Penrhyn Close, Southampton and assault by beating in Newtown Road, Eastleigh. He was ordered to pay £250 in compensation and was jailed for five weeks. 

EMIL HOLEWICK, 54, of no fixed abode admitted to theft from a shop after he stole washing tablets worth £20.75 from The Range in Winchester Road, Southampton. He also pleaded guilty to failing or refusing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test in Southampton. Holewick was fined £120. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
