A man has been taken to hospital after being punched and pushed into a wall outside the Arrow pub in Eastleigh - with police now releasing a photo.
The victim in the incident – a man in his 30s – was punched and pushed into a brick wall outside The Arrow public house on Shakespeare Road, Eastleigh.
The victim required follow-up treatment in hospital due to his head injury.
Police have now released an image of a man they want to speak to after the serious assault that happened between 5.10pm and 5.15pm on Thursday, July 11.
Police are seeking a white man in his early 40s, shorter than 5ft 10ins, bald, with a tattoo on his right wrist, who was last seen wearing navy blue tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the side.
He was also wearing a jacket wrapped around his waist, black Nike trainers, and sunglasses, in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "Do you recognise this man?
"We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
"Also, if you witnessed anything of the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
"You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240294341."
