Care home firm Churchill Living is set to celebrate an anniversary milestone in the sunshine.

Marking its 21st anniversary with an open-air party at Beck Lodge in Park Gate, the company is extending an invitation to residents on August 8, between 2pm and 4pm.

The company, known in the past as Churchill Retirement Living, has built a reputation over two decades for providing quality independent living options for the over 60s.

The birthday commemoration also represents its new branding and name shift to Churchill Living, signalling a more concentrated emphasis on overall lifestyle within this age group.

A focus on the concept of "living," as opposed to just "retirement," is now evident in Churchill Living's operations strategy.

The firm intends to continue establishing and running specialist communities like Beck Lodge, tailored to this demographic.

Attendees of the garden party can look forward to an afternoon filled with live music, cream tea, and sparkling wine.

They will also have the chance to interact with current apartment owners and hear about their new and improved way of life.

As well as being an opportunity to celebrate, the event is also useful for those considering buying a Churchill Living apartment.

The Beck Lodge properties, already more than half sold, offer one and two-bedroom apartments, thoughtfully designed for over 60s.

They come furnished with features like a Owners’ Lounge, Guest Suite, Lodge Manager and an ever-ready emergency service.

Churchill’s senior regional marketing manager Caroline Haswell said: "Our summer garden party is the perfect opportunity to bring together existing and prospective Churchill Owners, to celebrate Churchill Living’s rebrand and our 21st birthday.

"It also offers a chance for local people to come and experience first-hand the fun and sociable lifestyle that comes with a brand-new Churchill apartment. We’ll have plenty of treats and great entertainment on offer, as well as the chance to chat to our Owners and meet our friendly sales team. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to join the party and see for themselves the wonderful community we have here."
