A dozen muddy sheep have been rescued after they became stranded in a bog near Southampton.
Rescuers from Redbridge Fire Station were called just before midday on July 25 after 12 sheep became stuck in a muddy bog.
Crews arrived at the scene at Cold Habour Lane, Lee and found the animals stuck knee-deep in the mud and water.

Some of them were also struggling to keep their heads above the surface.
A specialist animal rescue team from Winchester was called in to assist and worked quickly to free the stranded sheep.
All 12 were successfully rescued and are now recovering in their barn.
