A health-centred education programme has celebrated the 15,000th student to take part.
LifeLab, a health-focused educational programme, marked the milestone duing its annual showcase.
The showcase, at Southampton General Hospital's LifeLab facility, was attended by students, teachers, staff, volunteers and University of Southampton staff.
Outstanding students were recognised with certificates for their exceptional effort over the past year.
Kath Woods-Townsend, LifeLab programme manager, said: "Our annual showcase event is always a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and reflect on everyone’s efforts over the past year to make a difference in the lives of our young people. It’s wonderful to see so many of our students and supporters come together to recognise this important programme."
The event displayed the initiative's response to the pandemic, including the introduction of Early LifeLab in Southampton's primary schools.
A Youth Panel, for teens aged 14 to 17, and a Young Researcher Training Programme were also lauded.
LifeLab was established almost 10 years ago.
