In a post on social media, a spokesperson said: "Vehicle theft has always been a priority for the NPT in Southampton West.
"This type of crime greatly impacts its victims, in the sense that vehicles are often peoples livelihood and in certain instances prized possessions.
"There is also a risk to the public when these vehicles are driven recklessly or used in crime.
"In the Southampton West we will relentlessly pursue suspects of vehicle theft not only for the victims but for the wider community.
"As always if you see something suspicious or not quite right, call 101 or 999 if the crime is occurring."
